Statement of Rights and Responsibilities

• The Church is not a monarchy or a democracy, but a people in communion with Jesus Christ, characterized by dialogue, collaboration, openness, and mutual respect.
• We are a reform association working for reform within the Roman Catholic Church.
• We believe in the primacy of conscience.
• We support a married priesthood.
• We support a broad-based, honest and open discussion on women priests within the Roman Catholic Church.
• We endorse the American Catholic Council’s Declaration on Rights and Responsibilities.
